A sheep recently sold at auction in the UK for a record £230,000, smashing the previous record of £128,000 set six years ago. Over his breeding life of six to eight years, Deveronvale Perfection could service 300 ewes a year and father 1000 lambs annually, earning his new Scottish owners many times his purchase price. Critics have described the tup as ‘perfect’ and ‘beyond their wildest dreams’.
